Coffee with the Mayor

Stop in and chat with Mayor Blaser while enjoying a hot cup of coffee.  Discuss what's happening in the City of Wisconsin Rapids or new opportunities you may have questions and/or concerns about.  Mayor Blaser visits the Lowell Center each month on a designated date.  These dates can be found in A Good Life newsletter.  

Puzzle Table

At all times a table is available with a puzzle started that everyone can take a turn at.   Place 1 piece or 50 pieces, it's a community puzzle for all to enjoy. 

Raised Garden Beds

Outside the Lowell Center we currently have one stationary raised garden beds that volunteers tend along with a few rolling beds around the patio.  The beds mainly grow vegetable plants along with a few fruit bearing plants. 

In 2018 we did a major reconstruction of the raised beds in our garden area to make them more user friendly.   We worked with a local garden center to create a more senior friendly garden area by cementing the sidewalks, adding a patio to host events and classes, re-designed the raised gardens for easier access and much more.  Attend a Garden Club meeting and be part of the group that makes it grow.  

Silver Cinema

Movies both old and new are shown at Lowell Center.  Titles are advertised in our newsletter "A Good Life" along with dates and times.  Many times you'll also enjoy fresh popped popcorn and refreshments. 

Wii Bowling League

A fun, interactive bowling game played with eight teams of two.  You will bowl two games each week for ten week.  The league ends with an Awards party that includes snacks and refreshments.    No experience is needed. 
Registration is required and it is free to join the league.
